Jobs, assignments, and scheduling
Create and manage jobs for work your business books directly. Use daily and weekly schedule views, assign technicians, and follow operational visibility on the Operations map. Assigned Zwivio jobs appear in your Operations workspace after assignment.
- Add jobs from Operations or the schedule; assign technicians and set service windows.
- Review daily and weekly schedule views with same-technician conflict warnings and unassigned-job signals.
- Use custom start and end times when after-hours or extended windows are needed.
- Assigned team members can respond to pre-service check-ins from their assigned job in My Work.
- Jobs your business books directly do not create Dispatch offers or marketplace routing activity.
Create company-added work
- Choose Add job from Operations or Schedule. Select an existing customer, or enter a new customer in the Customer step.
- In Location, select a saved service location or enter a new service address. Check that the address belongs to the visit you are booking.
- Enter the work details, appointment window, and assigned team member. Review schedule warnings before saving.
- Choose the customer email notification option deliberately. Creating or saving work and emailing the customer are separate choices; check the confirmation and delivery result.
Reschedule or reassign company work
Open the job from Jobs and use its edit controls to update work details or appointment times. Review the customer, location, and assigned team member before saving. Use the assignment controls to reassign eligible work to another available field team member. Membership alone does not assign a person to a visit.
Schedule shows booked work and helps you spot overlaps or unassigned visits. Review same-team-member conflict warnings when changing a time or assignment. Schedule Intelligence helps compare scheduling choices; Day Planner lets you review and apply supported assignment suggestions. Recurring schedules manage repeated visits separately.
Move the visit forward
Open assigned work to record the available progress actions, including on-the-way, arrival, and completion. Office users can review progress from the job. Complete the job when the visit is finished; use the available cancellation action when work will not proceed. Review any reason or confirmation before submitting, and check the resulting job status.
Use Service Record for the work performed and Service photos for visit images. Saving documentation does not itself complete the job. After completion, authorized office users can create an Invoice or choose No invoice needed when appropriate.
Connect the visit to collection and communications
Use Deposit request on the job to request money before the final Invoice. After completion, create the Invoice and review any collected deposits. Use customer notification controls for appointment changes, and Save & notify customer in the Service Record when a completed summary is ready to share.
Keep Network authority separate
Company-added jobs are work your business controls directly. Officially assigned Zwivio Dispatch Network jobs appear after assignment and retain their Network requirements. Use the actions offered on that job for progress, scheduling, or reassignment; adding or editing CRM work cannot change Network routing or grant assignment authority. Follow the Dispatch Network boundary guide for the separate participation rules.
Jobs list and Operations
The Jobs list shows active operational work. Operations overview helps owners and dispatchers see day-of context. Technicians often work from My Work for assignments.
Keep your team informed as the day moves
- See scheduled job destinations and active trip markers on the Operations map.
- Track available location updates when technicians share trip progress.
- Capture time on site from Arrived to Completed.
- Give owners and dispatchers operational visibility while technicians focus on assigned work.
Trip visibility is based on shared trip progress and available location updates.
Pre-service check-ins
Assigned team members can confirm they are on track, report a delay, or flag that they cannot make the appointment. Owners and dispatchers can review responses through in-app alerts—see Follow-ups and in-app alerts.
Assigned Zwivio work
When your business accepts an assigned Zwivio job, it appears alongside your own jobs in Jobs and on the schedule after assignment. Open that job from Jobs to manage the visit, trip updates, and completion—without treating it like a job you created from scratch.
Where to find it: Use Operations → Add job to add work, Jobs for the job list, Schedule for calendar views, and My Work for assigned visits.
